Melina BATH (Eastern Victoria) (12:59): (2536) My constituency question is to the Minister for Police. This government has neglected our police force for the last decade, and very sadly and alarmingly, Moe has a crime rate that has risen by 60 per cent in the last little while. The government has spruiked its new policy about police reservists. However, Moe has had its station hours cut, and it is down to between 10 and 6 pm. The government has put reservists in both Traralgon and Wonthaggi police stations but has neglected those other very important areas. My constituent wants to understand when you will put reservists in Moe and when you will open up the hours so that they can serve this lovely community far better than it is being served now.
